In June 2025, American nu-metal legends KoRn—led by Jonathan Davis and at the peak of their tour supporting Requiem (2022) with a return to roots after The Nothing (2019)—headlined Rock am Ring, one of Europe's largest festivals at Germany's Nürburgring circuit. Their 90-minute Hauptbühne set became the day's climax among acts like Bring Me the Horizon and others. Captured professionally, the performance caught the band at full strength: James "Munky" Shaffer's and Brian "Head" Welch's heavy 7-string riffs backed Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu's bass and Ray Luzier's drums, while Davis' signature screaming and "bagpipe" improv added mad charm. Running through "Blind", "Freak on a Leash", "Got the Life", "Coming Undone", "Here to Stay", and "Twisted Transistor"—90s–2000s classics with modern intensity, with the crowd singing every chorus under summer skies. This gig—a reminder why KoRn remain nu-metal kings even after 30 years.
