In July 2017, American nu-metal legends Korn—led by Jonathan Davis and in full lineup with Brian "Head" Welch's return—headlined Summer Breeze Open Air, one of Europe's leading heavy music festivals in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. Their main stage set on July 16 became the day's climax alongside Parkway Drive and Powerwolf before 40,000 attendees. Captured professionally, the performance caught the band at peak power: James "Munky" Shaffer's and Head's 7-string riffs, Fieldy's bass, and Ray Luzier's drums created heavy groove, while Davis' signature screaming and emotional outbursts drove the crowd wild. Running through "Blind", "Freak on a Leash", "Got the Life", "Coming Undone", "Here to Stay", and "Falling Away from Me"—90s–2000s classics with modern intensity, where masks, jumps, and raw energy turned the festival grounds into pure mayhem.
