In June 2010, American nu-metal band Korn performed their special concert The Encounter in a wheat field near Bakersfield, California — an open-air setting amid golden stalks to promote their album Korn III: Remember Who You Are (2010). Captured professionally and later remastered in HD 16:9, the show caught the band at full strength: James "Munky" Shaffer's and Brian "Head" Welch's heavy 7-string riffs backed Fieldy's bass and Ray Luzier's drums, while Jonathan Davis' signature screaming and emotional outbursts drove the crowd wild. Running through "Blind", "Freak on a Leash", "Got the Life", "Falling Away from Me", "Here to Stay", and new tracks from Remember Who You Are — classic nu-metal in a surreal, natural setting among wheat fields.
