Capturing the raw energy that cemented their global stardom, this 2022 performance finds Italian rock sensations Måneskin commanding the massive stage at Austria's famed Nova Rock Festival. Fresh off their international breakthrough, the band unleashes a torrent of glam-rock swagger and infectious energy upon the Nickelsdorf crowd. The setlist is a powerful mix of their own anthems and the cover that became a viral phenomenon, showcasing the versatility and stage presence that make them a formidable live act.
Frontman Damiano David is a magnetic force, his distinctive, gritty vocals driving songs like "Zitti E Buoni" and "In Nome Del Padre" with relentless passion. The tight-knit chemistry of the quartet—bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio—is palpable, creating a sound that is both polished and thrillingly unpredictable. Their performance is a testament to the band's origins, having honed their craft by playing on the streets of Rome before their meteoric rise. This show is a snapshot of a band at the peak of their powers, delivering a loud, defiant, and unapologetically glamorous rock and roll spectacle.
