In August 2025, German electronic musician Monolink, born Stefan Moiski, whose albums like Ran (2021) with their lyric looping and fusion of house, indie, and dub became benchmarks of introspective live acts, performed a sunrise set at Burning Man—the annual festival in Nevada's Black Rock Desert, where his Playground art car gig, curated by Playground Collective as part of the theme week, emerged as a highlight among 70,000 "burners." The 90-minute performance, captured via drone footage over dusty dunes, embodied his global tour climax, where Moiski's vocal loops intertwined with throbbing beats to evoke meditative catharsis under dawn light. As a rare artifact of Burning Man 2025, this show highlighted Monolink's role as a performer transforming the playa into a unity portal.
