In the historic grandeur of London’s Royal Albert Hall, Muse delivered a special one-off charity performance on 12 April 2008 as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series. Already known for their massive stadium shows, the band brought their powerful alternative and progressive rock sound to the legendary venue in a more intimate setting.
This footage captures a memorable portion of the night, featuring the rare UK performance of “Fury,” a strong “Invincible,” an extended “Bliss,” the dramatic return of “Megalomania” (performed by Matt Bellamy on the Royal Albert Hall organ for the first time since 2002), and the epic closer “Knights of Cydonia.”
The performance stands as a striking example of Muse’s intensity and musicianship even without their usual large-scale production.
