Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, led by Noel since 2011, carry the spirit of Britpop but with a softer, newer edge, blending rock with melancholic melodies. Their gig on November 19, 2023, at Corona Capital in Mexico City was all about Noel’s knack for owning a crowd. His voice, gritty yet soulful, floated over guitar chords and keyboard textures, crafting a sound that was both powerful and cozy. The band, with guitars and rhythms, layered in vibes that hit you right in the feels. The lights, shifting from gold to blue, played up the mood changes, and the open stage’s acoustics made every chord feel real. The crowd, singing along, felt like they were part of this musical story, full of emotion and nostalgia.
