In August 2025, Australian electronic band Pendulum—whose albums like Hold Your Colour (2005), with over a million copies sold, pioneered drum 'n' bass with techno and rock 'n' roll elements—headlined the "Hard Sunday" at Lokerse Feesten, a multi-day festival in Lokeren, Belgium, where their set capped a day featuring Electric Callboy, Brutus, and Enter Shikari. Their hour-long performance, brimming with pulsating beats and Robbie Williams' energetic delivery, fused classics with fresh remixes, igniting festival euphoria among tens of thousands of attendees. The show stood out for its relentless drive and visual effects, underscoring Pendulum's evolution from underground clubs to global arenas, marking it a standout moment of the "hardcore" day.
