Popa Chubby performed in Boca Raton, Florida, on October 15, 2022, delivering a robust blues-rock set at The Funky Biscuit. Born Theodore Joseph Horowitz, the American musician kicked off in 1980s New York and rose with "Booty and the Beast" (1995), while this gig featured material from "Tinfoil Hat" (2021). His style mixes sharp guitar riffs, a soulful, gravelly voice, and rhythms rooted in blues, rock, and soul. The live show stood out with virtuoso guitar solos and a full sound, backed by tight bass and drums. "Tinfoil Hat" tackled social issues, sharpening his edge and reinforcing his legacy after decades onstage. Horowitz sang with heart, shifting from rough tones to melody, while his band kept the room buzzing with live energy. The Funky Biscuit, a cozy Boca Raton club holding about 400, hosted him in an intimate setup: warm lighting, a stage close to the crowd, and clear sound crafted a snug vibe perfect for blues. Part of his U.S. tour, this show highlighted his veteran status with unrelenting fire. The sound was loud, guitar- and rhythm-focused, and that October night in the club came alive with his skill, leaving a strong mark on local fans.
