In August 2023, Swedish garage-rock band Royal Republic—formed in 2007 in Stockholm and renowned for infectious riffs and ironic lyrics on everyday rebellion in albums like The Royal Republic (2009)—performed on the Main Stage at Pol'and'Rock Festival, a charitable event in Broczyno, Poland, formerly Przystanek Woodstock and one of Europe's largest free festivals drawing over 500,000 attendees. Their hour-long set, brimming with Adam Graham’s unrelenting drive and spontaneous flair, traced the band's progression from underground clubs to festival command, where rock 'n' roll gained mass scale under summer skies.
