Berlin's iconic Matrix Club hosts an explosive performance from German techno legends Scooter, captured in 2017 during their monumental "25 Years Wild & Wicked" tour. Known for their stadium-sized rave spectacles, this video offers a rare chance to see the band in a much more intimate, high-energy club setting. The raw power of Scooter is on full display as frontman H.P. Baxxter commands the packed venue, unleashing a torrent of their signature ad-libs and high-octane showmanship upon a sea of devoted fans.
The concert was a celebration of a quarter-century of musical dominance, and the setlist is a testament to their enduring legacy. From the relentless drive of "Oi" to the anthemic chorus of "One (Always Hardcore)," the performance is a journey through the high points of happy hardcore and rave culture. This isn't just a concert; it's a demonstration of how Scooter has managed to stay relevant for decades, consistently delivering euphoric, unapologetic, and powerful live shows.
The Matrix Club, a sprawling venue located in the basement vaults of a railway station, provides the perfect underground atmosphere for this relentless sonic assault. The video captures the sweaty, pulsating energy of the night, showcasing a band that, even after 25 years, performs with the hunger and intensity of a group just starting out. It's a pure distillation of the Scooter experience: loud, fast, and guaranteed to make you move.
