Brazilian metal legends Sepultura unleash a torrent of raw power in this full concert recording from the Festival De Inverno De Garanhuns in 2022. Captured in their home country, this performance is not just another electrifying set from the titans of thrash and groove metal; it marks a significant and emotional moment for the band. The show was guitarist Andreas Kisser's first performance back on stage after a personal absence, and the energy is palpable, channeling a sense of resilience and catharsis into every riff and drum beat.
From the moment they step on stage, Derrick Green's commanding vocals, Kisser's intricate and punishing guitar work, Paulo Jr.'s thunderous bass, and Eloy Casagrande's virtuosic drumming combine to create an unstoppable force. The setlist is a journey through their storied career, blending modern-day anthems with the timeless classics that cemented their place in metal history. The Garanhuns crowd responds with fervent energy, creating a symbiotic exchange that elevates the entire performance. This isn't just a concert; it's a testament to Sepultura's enduring spirit, their deep connection with their fans, and the unifying power of heavy music.
