In July 2025, British indie-rock band The Amazons—from Reading and known for their energetic guitar sound on albums like How Will I Know If Heaven Will Call Me? (2022)—performed at Electric Castle, Romania's festival at Banffy Castle in Transylvania, where their set became a day highlight alongside Bring Me the Horizon and Queens of the Stone Age. Their hour-long main stage performance, captured in high quality, caught the band at full strength: Matt Thomson and Chris Aldridge's guitar riffs merged with Joe Emmett's drum power and Thomson's vocal intensity to spark euphoria under Transylvanian skies. Featuring tracks like "Mother", "Junk Food Forever", "Black Magic", and "25", this show highlighted their role as 2020s British indie-rock leaders, turning the medieval castle into an arena of collective unity.
