In the intimate and stylish setting of Fiction Studios in central London, The Amazons deliver a potent and focused live performance. Titled "Chapter & Verse," this studio session strips away the large-scale stage production the band is known for, offering a raw, up-close look at their musicianship. The performance is tied to their fourth studio album, "21st Century Fiction," released in 2025, and features powerful renditions of new tracks like "Joe Bought A Gun" and "Pitch Black."
Known for their explosive, riff-heavy brand of rock, the Reading-based quartet channels that same energy into the controlled studio environment. Frontman Matt Thomson's commanding vocals are at the forefront, driving the performance with a mix of aggression and heartfelt introspection that defines the album's themes. This session serves as a perfect companion piece to the record, allowing fans to experience the new material in a format that highlights the intricate guitar work, tight rhythm section, and overall sonic power of the band.
Filmed with a clean, professional aesthetic, the video captures the focus and chemistry between the band members. It’s a testament to their strength as a live act, proving that whether they are on a massive festival stage or in a boutique recording studio, The Amazons' intensity and passion remain uncompromising.
