Swedish garage rock titans The Hives unleashed their signature sonic assault at the 2018 Deichbrand Festival, held at Seeflughafen in Cuxhaven, Germany. Known for delivering some of the most electrifying and chaotic live shows in modern rock, the band storms the stage in their iconic matching black-and-white suits, ready to command the massive festival crowd.
Fronted by the impossibly energetic Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, the performance is a masterclass in showmanship. Almqvist is renowned for his playful, arrogant banter and non-stop physical antics, from high kicks to venturing into the audience, all while leading the band through a high-octane set. This performance captures the raw power of their punk-infused rock and roll, driven by relentless guitar riffs and a rhythm section that doesn't quit. The Hives have built a global reputation as one of the best live acts on the planet, and this show is a testament to that title, filled with the sweat, swagger, and pure rock frenzy that defines their three-decade career.
