Las Vegas rockers The Killers took to the main stage at Glasgow Green to deliver a triumphant headlining set, closing out the 2018 TRNSMT Festival. This professionally shot video captures the sheer scale and energy of the event, as a massive Scottish crowd welcomes one of the 21st century's most iconic rock bands. Frontman Brandon Flowers, a famously charismatic showman, is in top form, leading the band through a career-spanning performance.
The setlist was a masterclass in festival entertainment, blending anthemic hits like "Somebody Told Me," "Human," and "When You Were Young" with tracks from their then-recent album, "Wonderful Wonderful." The band's connection with the audience is palpable, creating an electric atmosphere. A particularly memorable moment, characteristic of The Killers' live shows, was when a fan was invited on stage to play drums on "For Reasons Unknown." The performance culminated in a massive, unified singalong to their signature song, "Mr. Brightside," a moment that showcases the incredible bond between the band and their devoted fans. This concert is a powerful document of The Killers at their best: a world-class live act delivering a euphoric and unforgettable show.
