Step into the heart of Austin's legendary music scene with this special performance by The Lumineers, filmed in 2016 for the acclaimed television series 'The Artists Den.' Captured at the iconic Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater, this concert finds the Denver-based folk-rockers at a pivotal moment in their career. The show took place shortly after the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Cleopatra,' offering fans an intimate first look at new material alongside beloved hits from their debut.
The Lumineers' signature blend of heartfelt storytelling, stomping rhythms, and anthemic, singalong choruses is on full display. Wesley Schultz's raw, emotive vocals lead the charge, backed by the multi-instrumental talents of the band, creating a sound that is both rustic and arena-ready. The setting of ACL Live, renowned for its pristine acoustics, provides the perfect canvas for their dynamic performance, which ranges from tender, acoustic moments to explosive, full-band crescendos. This isn't just a concert; it's a beautifully filmed document of a band hitting its stride, connecting with an audience in one of America's great music cities.
