Step into the intimate setting of the KROQ Helpful Honda Sound Space for a special, stripped-down performance by The Lumineers. Recorded in 2024 for a small group of lucky contest winners, this session captures the beloved folk-rock band at their most personal and direct. The performance was organized to celebrate the release of new music, offering fans a unique opportunity to hear both new tracks and cherished classics in a close-quarters environment.
Led by the earnest vocals of Wesley Schultz, the band navigates a setlist that spans their celebrated career. They deliver heartfelt renditions of iconic hits like the stomping anthem 'Ophelia' and the narrative-driven 'Cleopatra,' songs that have defined their sound and resonated with audiences worldwide. Alongside these fan favorites, the set includes newer material such as 'Brightside' and 'Automatic,' showcasing the band's evolving songwriting while retaining their signature raw, emotional core. This acoustic-leaning performance highlights the craftsmanship behind their music, stripping away stadium-sized production to reveal the powerful storytelling and melodic hooks that lie at the heart of every Lumineers song. It's a warm, engaging showcase that feels less like a concert and more like a private jam session with one of modern folk's most compelling acts.
