Turnstile, an American band formed in 2010 in Baltimore, stands as a prominent figure in hardcore punk, integrating elements of alternative rock and post-hardcore with melodic expressiveness. Their performance on June 23, 2024, at the Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany, was part of an international tour promoting new material. The music blended ferocious guitar riffs, pulsing rhythms, and emotive vocal lines, crafting a layered sonic landscape. Brendan Yates’ vocals, ranging from aggressive shouts to melodic passages, and Daniel Fang’s rhythmic power harmonized with the festival stage’s open acoustics, immersing the audience in an intense sonic experience.
