Capturing the raw energy of their 'Emotional Roadshow World Tour,' this video showcases Twenty One Pilots' headlining performance at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware, on June 16, 2017. The duo, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, took to the Firefly Stage and delivered a set that has become emblematic of their reputation for high-octane, theatrical live shows. The performance was part of a massive lineup that included artists like The Weeknd, Muse, and Chance the Rapper.
From the moment they open with a mashup of "Fairly Local" and "Heavydirtysoul," the atmosphere is electric. Known for their genre-bending sound that merges alternative rock, electropop, and hip-hop, the duo masterfully navigates their eclectic catalog. The setlist is packed with fan favorites, including powerful renditions of "Stressed Out," "Ride," and "Car Radio." True to form, the concert is filled with their signature stunts—Tyler's crowd interactions and Josh's famous drum island surf are just a few highlights that demonstrate their unique connection with the audience. This performance is a prime example of Twenty One Pilots' ability to turn a massive festival crowd into an intimate, unified community.
