Step into the intimate confines of the CD 92.9 Big Room in Columbus, Ohio, for a unique session with Two Feet, recorded in September 2021. This performance offers more than just a concert; it's a deep dive into the creative process of Zachary William Dess, the artist behind the moniker. Known for his signature blend of bluesy, soulful guitar riffs and floor-rattling electronic bass, Two Feet delivers a set that is both raw and meticulously crafted.
What makes this session particularly special is its hybrid format. The live music is interwoven with an interview and even a tutorial on the loop pedal, a cornerstone of his atmospheric sound. This provides a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how he constructs his tracks, layering hazy guitar melodies and beats in real-time. The studio setting strips away the large-scale production of a festival show, placing the focus squarely on his technical skill and the moody, sensual energy of his music.
This performance captures a unique moment, showcasing Two Feet not just as a performer, but as a musician willing to share the mechanics behind his art. It’s an up-close and personal format that reveals the intricate details and emotional depth of his genre-bending sound, which seamlessly merges elements of electronic, alternative rock, and modern blues.
