Capturing the raw, untamed energy of a European summer festival, this performance sees Sheffield's metalcore titans While She Sleeps command the stage at the legendary Graspop Metal Meeting. Held in Dessel, Belgium, the 2022 edition of the festival provided the perfect backdrop for the band's explosive and passionate set. Known for their dizzying blend of crushing metal, guttural hardcore, and arena-sized hooks, While She Sleeps delivered a performance that was both sonically punishing and intensely unifying.
The setlist is a powerful cross-section of their work, kicking off with the anthemic "SLEEPS SOCIETY" and tearing through fan favorites like "ANTI-SOCIAL" and "THE GUILTY PARTY." The connection between the band and the massive festival crowd is palpable, a testament to their reputation for fostering a positive and chaotic energy at their live shows. Vocalist Lawrence Taylor, along with the rest of the band, channels a relentless aggression that ignites the audience from the very first note. This concert is a prime example of why While She Sleeps has become a formidable and respected force in the international metalcore scene, celebrated for their fierce independence and powerful live presence.
