In September 2018, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators took the stage at the KAABOO Del Mar festival in California, delivering a powerful performance that kicked off their 'Living the Dream' tour. This concert showcased the incredible synergy between Slash's iconic guitar prowess and Myles Kennedy's dynamic vocals, a partnership that has defined this project for over a decade. The setlist was a well-crafted mix of tracks from their collaborative albums and beloved songs from Slash's solo career, including staples like "Ghost" and "Back from Cali".
The band, featuring Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz, and Frank Sidoris, provided a tight and energetic foundation for the two frontmen. They treated the festival audience to a blistering hour of rock 'n' roll, blending hard rock anthems with intricate musicianship. The performance was part of a massive, diverse lineup at KAABOO that included headliners like Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, and Robert Plant. This show was a testament to the band's enduring appeal and their reputation as a formidable live act, perfectly setting the stage for their world tour in support of the 'Living the Dream' album, which was released just days later.
